Living in Peace with nature
"Living in peace with nature" translates to adapting ourselves and living in harmony with environment and nature. Urbanization has always tried to over power the environment and has destroyed nature by creating its own system. Nature takes corrective action in the form of natural disaster now and then. But the concrete building, asphalt roads withstand worst and worst of the natural disasters. Its never late to try and make peace with nature and build our future cities environment friendly. In my view, irrespective of region and nation we need to make peace with these three components of nature which are necessary to the very survival of human race.
Birds and Bee's: Bees, as all of us know plays main role in pollination and pollination leads to trees bearing fruits. Bees are fast disappearing and in the near future human being shall take the role of bees and hop from tree to tree and flower to flower. Birds are considered to be natural cultivators, they consume the fruits and drop the seeds in different places. Birds can bring seeds of trees from distant places. Seeds dropped by the birds grow into huge trees. Birds also feed on insects, which reduces the insects invasion. Birds like crow, eagle, vultures are scavengers and helps disposing dead animal corpse which could cause epidemic. Its hard to believe that these birds are slowly heading towards extinction.
Trees and plants: Having analyzed the importance of birds and bees, birds nest in trees and further spreads the seed, so we are also obliged to matain peace with trees. We shall preserve the trees and avoid cutting the trees. Trees not only provide shelter for birds, but also provides shade for us and pure air for breathing.Trees provide livelihood to many. I am writing this blog sitting in the shadow of a huge tree, enjoying the breeze and tweeting of birds. Trees are very important in bringing rain. Water is an essential element for survival.
Ground water: Birds needs trees and trees bring rain which needs to be stored for usage. Ground water is a natural water distribution system which delivers water to our villages and cities from far rivers, lakes and ponds. Earth is an under ground storage system which filters and purifies the water and creates underground water streams. Filling each and every inch with asphalt and concrete, improper disposal of plastic bags prevents water from seeping inside the soil. Ground water needs to be used appropriately to have water supply throughout the year. I suggest to opt for open wells instead of borewells which will be helpful for preserving the groundwater.
Each and every individual shall make peace with the nature and our action shall not harm the nature. It is also very important that we do not break the eco cycle and thrive peacefully along with nature.
Lets work together and make the world better place to live.
