Think out of box etc.. Ask anyone “ Tell me about yourself” 99 out 100 would say I am optimistic, Innovative and creative. In a context those who preach to be innovative and creative, as well as the one who claims to be innovative and creative may not necessarily have a good understanding about what it means? Are we taught to be innovative and creative in schools, colleges or University.. It's a big no.... Then how to be innovative and creative? one need to figure out himself/herself. I have decided to write about innovation and creativity to share my opinion about creativity and Innovation. I leave it to the audience or readers to decide its right decision to write about the very wage and really close terminologies, I hope my post possess the creativity & the X-factor.  Let me put innovation in this way- It's doing things differently.          I went to the Hypermarket to get supplies for the week. At one corner of  the hypermarket, the ally was totally jammed which grabbed my interest, as I walked towards the crowd it didn’t take much time to figure out, that a guy was selling vegetable chopper with live demo. Vegetable chopper often attracts women  urging them to buy the gadget which makes chopping of vegetable a lot easier .Only very few women are able to master the art of using the vegetable chopper other than the marketing guy who was demonstrating the vegetable chopper.   Everyone have special interest and fascination for gadgets. We don’t hesitate to bring home the gadgets hoping that it will be helpful in our day today life. With existence of nucleus family and the compulsion for both partners to work and affordability the sale of gadgets has gained momentum in recent days. Probably the first gadget developed by man kind is a watch after which numerous gadgets have flocked the market. When I wa

Project Motivation...

I have been reported missing from blogging,  by my blog 'Allwyn's blog: The Journey' due to inactiveness for almost a quarter of calendar year. The reason for inactivity ranges from summer vacation travels to lack of interest to lack of blogging ideas to shortage of time. Giving Excuses is not an Excuse for not blogging. To regain my confidence & Rhythm I turned my attention to micro blogging( Instagram & Facebook page). I am currently doing a micro project “ Project Motivation” which is to post motivating and  Inspiring Quotes continuously for 30days in my Instagram account  and FB page. The main aim of the project is to motivate and get motivated. I pursued the idea in a very light note but took it very seriously in course of time. At first it seemed to be a simple task, but I later realized its a time consuming activity. Some days I spent many hours to find the right quote which inspires me to post. Next challenge was to prepare a poster for the quote which r

I found these versus on the lower deck of visitors entrance of worlds tallest building “The Burj Khalifa”. It’s clearly depicts what it took to build such a tall structure. One can derive a lot of motivation and inspiration from these Quotes. “The word impossible is not in leaders dictionaries.. How big the challenges, strong faith, determination and resolve will overcome them” - His Excellency Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum All along the way to the lift which takes us to the 124th level, construction pictures of the Burj Khalifa were displayed. The lift is so quick that it takes less than a minute from zero to 124. It is a fabulous view from the top with many high raise buildings competing to beat the Iconic building but in vain. This victory is celebrated every 30min at the ground level by Dubai dancing fountain. Isn’t it amazing to witness such a spectacular event at night. I don’t know how many of  us see from this point of view...But I felt like the

Does high expectation from parents affect the children..

" You taught me to Walk You taught me to Play You taught me to be Independent Allow me to choose my future holding your hands Guide me not force me"                                              - -  Inner voice of a child   In the present era, parents decide the future of their children even before they take their first breath in the world. My son or daughter will become a doctor or engineer when they grow up is what many parents dream about. Expectations run so high among parents that it becomes a burden on the child. Every child has distinct characters and capabilities. Some parents are even worse. They always compare their children with their neighbors, colleagues and relatives children. I would like to quote a funny incident, a friend of mine always used to compare his daughter's performance with his colleague's daughter's performance . She used to get lot of scolding from her parents until they discovered, his colleague's daughter i

India and cultural diversity

Image
India is  a beautiful sovereign country and is one of the most culturally diverse country. Anyone in the world would easily accept India as a cultural capital. The list runs miles when we talk about the cultural experience in the form of art, festivals, customs, social behavior etc. In many countries uniform culture is adapted, whereas in India every 100KM one can experience a new cultural variant and in every 500KM can easily experience a completely different culture. If anyone wishes to witness the rich cultural heritage of India, watch the republic day parade on 26th January every year, where cultural diversity of India is demonstrated by a colorful parade. Every state of India showcase their cultural heritage with great pride during the Republic day parade. Its a real treat to watch the cultural diversity. State of Tamilnadu team in Republic day Parade  Cultural diversity enriches the country with many art forms and enhances creativity. Every individual in India respec

Ride the waves of life..

Image
What makes our lives very interesting is that no one knows or even have idea about what will happen the next minute or second. Its real wastage of time guessing the future. Its equally annoying to keep worrying about the past.   Prepare yourself for the future and cherish your past. Learn from your mistakes and write your own future and on the way enjoy the present. When you ride the wave, even rough waves can be tamed, on contrary, if you don't ride the wave, even a small wave unfolds like a monster swallowing everything on its way. Are you asking me, why to put efforts when neither future nor the past is out of our control? Without efforts you will not have anything to cherish, rather you will drown in your own tears remembering the missed opportunities.   Can we make Alterations in our life? Yes why not, but only on the future, not on the past. One can easily drop his current profession, deciding to become a writer, traveler, wanderer etc.. etc... One can change their

Corner stone...

Image
Corner stones are very important for any building, without a proper corner stone the building becomes weak and stands a fair chance of collapsing from its glory to ruins. Though in modern day buildings, corner stones were taken over by pillars yet the importance of corner pillar is very important for the stability of the building. Every building has four corner stones holding the walls together and carrying whole lot load of the building. Corner stones decides the integrity of the building. Similar to the building, our life is also an enclosed building resting and thriving on the corner stones. Those corner stones are family, teachers, friends and society . We become corner stone for others expanding the simple cuboid into a complex social structure with interdependency on one another. In this complex structure if one corner stone is disturbed it will disturb the complete balance of the intertwined human lives. At an early age we were taught by our family members, then mentored
