Do I really need to...

 Do I really need to.....
As I scrolled through my whatsapp messages, I came across an interesting letter written by school teacher to the parents of the students which quoted
“ Your children will be sitting for exams soon and you all hope they would pass with high grades. It would be great to see all students pass with good grades.. In case if your kid didn’t get good grades, Remember musician don’t need mathematics, Sports man don’t need physics, Artist don’t need Biology. Every student has different talent. Life is not only about studies, encourage and motive your children and you will see them conquer great heights”
What we can do: We don't need to inspire those who study hard with absolute passion, instead inspire those who have special talents of being a musician, sportsmen, artist etc...etc.. to take up education and use education and education system to their advantage.
Isn’t it a great letter written by a responsible teacher. Hope everyone gets such a great teacher. Its rare to get such note from teacher. Usually the note reads “ You ward is not scoring good grades, make him study and practice well at home” then why the hell we are sending our children to school. We get used to homework, carry on the habit throughout the rest of our life, bringing homework from office too.
How education system help: Back to the core topic, schools are the place where kids gets their first mentor, first music teacher, first coach etc.. etc.. Most of the talents are identified in schools and enhanced in college. Willing or unwilling you have to continue your studies to get those free service from school or colleges. Though studies are tedious, it shapes and develops the personality of children. Schools and colleges have libraries where you have access to large number of books which  can polish you beyond
Why to continue studying: At dawn one can find musicians, dancers and or artist performing on the road side. Have you ever thought why these people are performing in the street, you will get to know that these people are not educated to identify and grab the available opportunities.
At this point a bigger question arises, are those successful artist, sportsmen, artist.. are all well educated. Not all are well educated but for the gifted ones with tons of talents and well educated, success is very close and on your doorsteps.
Mr. Bean one of the greatest comedians was very successful despite having stammering. He could overcome the difficulties as he is well educated. In a country where 1.2 billion people follow cricket, you can find most of the famous cricketers are well educated. Javagal Srinath, Venkatesh Prasad, Rahul Dravid, and now R.Ashwin are engineers, they managed well their game and education.
Are you really pushing through for success: I would describe those gifted guys who forsake education as short visional, as they only cherish the happiness at that particular moment and least bothered about being a successful musician, sportsman or an artist. Instructions pamphlets are distributed in English to all Olympians, If they don’t know English they will not even know where the practice venues are located.
If a musician don’t know acoustics(physics) how he can perform in a large auditorium all notes will overlap, If a sportsman doesn’t know anatomy how he can keep up his fitness, If an artist doesn’t know chemistry his color combination won’t be stable and fade away quickly.
This is exactly what the teacher wanted to convey in his letter, which I have elaborated. Parents keep in mind don’t be very strict and don’t be lenient.. instead explain to your children and make them understand the practicality.
Do I really need to... Yes you need to hang on and pass your exams if you need a successful career in any field
