To win is hard.. It's even harder to win over self



It's a narrative prose on how a win on yourself which will pave the way for success. The most difficult personality to control, is thyself. Self-discipline keeps you focused on the goal. Enjoyed a lot while writing this and had a sense of accomplishment after completing. Hope this post will have positive effects on readers.

I try hard to succeed, every time I push forward,
I slip backward, Success  always evades,
Many told success is evasive, but I am determined,
I started chasing success day and night,
Every time I come closer, I am drained,
And success successfully evades,
Have to do something different to Succeed,
Time to think differently, Decided to
Get rid of my thinking about success and walk in my way,
Concentrate on what I know and do the best,
First time I realized success started following me,
Then, I and success are like poles repelling each other,
Success, successfully evades again,
Lazy Sunday morning I was standing on the porch having coffee,
Far away a film song floats in the air,
“Unai Arindhal Nee Unai Arindal Ulagathil poradalam”
(knowing yourself is the key to sustain in the world)
Felt light when I heard those lines,  realizing I have to win over myself,
That realization moment, gave a lot of high,
I let go  my Ego’s, hard feelings, doubts, Enmity,
Domination, negativity, stereotyped nature etc...
Hurray.. I  Won over myself, standing beside me is success, smiling at me,
Promising me not to  leave and  holding my hands tight,
I Won the fight against me finally...
There is no winner nor loser in this fight
Its all about getting better and better overcoming the self imposed hurdles
Happy ending

    Hehehe........ I guess, people have been trying to win over self from I guess decades but are still unsuccessful. Maybe because we don't know the way or don't have time to find the right path to walk on.

Are you ready for hefty traffic fine..

It’s a great pleasure to write a blog for a social cause.. Recently government of India increased the traffic fines by almost 10x times hoping that the hefty traffic fines would force public to follow traffic  rules. I have tried to give a dimension to this whole episode with respect to the responsibilities of the Government, Individuals & Institution. The increase in fine has created  uproar as well as support among the public. It is usual in any democracy to have such split opinions. I think I was in 9th grade when my class teacher was very fond of imposing hefty fines. In those time a fine of ten rupees was hefty for a ninth grader. I have been in the construction industry for almost 20yrs. Apart from the hazards at the project site, a constant threat was travel related safety. Hence we were educated to follow the traffic rules time and again.
