Feast with your eyes..

 
Feasting the food with eyes are as relishing and satisfying as tasting a good food. Food is first tasted with eyes, which stimulates the taste in the brain and intrigues the taste buds to taste the food . I used to capture the pictures and share the pictures in my FB page @blogthejourney of different dishes which I like the most. This post is compilation of those pictures. 
You may start drooling and get extremely hungry after or while reading this post. Be ready with towel to wipe the drool and Chicken Tikka to fill your stomach

Kudu Grilled Chicken Meal, Balanced meal with protein, carbohydrates and Veggies. My all time favorite  
Mandi - the most important dish in any function/ party in Saudi Arabia. Its a dish with cooked lamb and flavored rice. Traditional arrangement in one of the famous restaurants in Jeddah. To round off the meal finish the feast with delicious Kunafah and Herbal Chai
Home made Rice Kanji(porridge). Rice, Minced Mutton , Veggies cooked in Maggie chicken broth along with spicy Chicken Tikka.. all credits to my wife for such a great porridge.

Are you ready for hefty traffic fine..

It’s a great pleasure to write a blog for a social cause.. Recently government of India increased the traffic fines by almost 10x times hoping that the hefty traffic fines would force public to follow traffic  rules. I have tried to give a dimension to this whole episode with respect to the responsibilities of the Government, Individuals & Institution. The increase in fine has created  uproar as well as support among the public. It is usual in any democracy to have such split opinions. I think I was in 9th grade when my class teacher was very fond of imposing hefty fines. In those time a fine of ten rupees was hefty for a ninth grader. I have been in the construction industry for almost 20yrs. Apart from the hazards at the project site, a constant threat was travel related safety. Hence we were educated to follow the traffic rules time and again. It was early 20th century... It was more than 50years since Sepoy Mutiny(1857) happened, Well, British governance was facing tough agitation from Indian tribal leaders, Nawab's and Kings in many forms. By then British were  ruling India for more than a century and they have no plans to leave India because of the wealth it possesses, abundance of raw materials and cheap resources .
