Tamilnadu Election 2016
Tamilnadu Election 2016
With Tamilnadu elections around the corner the political parties are busy finalizing the alliances, seat sharing, candidates, election manifesto and election campaign program it's one duty to vote without fail. When you step out to vote then comes the first question To whom shall I vote??
To whom shall I vote :
Many say I vote for a certain party because my dad or husband told me to vote for the party. For some they vote for their favorite leaders only irrespective of other factors. Many were clueless what's happening around and are very reluctant and see election day as an additional day off from the stressful work day. Lets think about to whom we are going to vote as the coming five years the state will be ruled by the party which gets the people mandate and its in your hands...
Select the Right Party/Alliance
I am not going to write to whom we shall vote or who shall rule the state instead here are some tip to select the right party.
- First step list down your point of view how the government shall function, welfare and development policies expected from the government.
- Second step Google the election manifesto published by different parties/alliances and compare it with the list you have.
- Third and decision making step select the party/alliance by comparing your list with the election manifesto of different parties and make a sequence and select the top three parties from your comparison
Now that you have selected the party the search has narrowed down, but still we need to know whether this party can really deliver or its just an election manifesto. Take a list of the candidates competing from the party/alliances throughout the state and check the candidates previous records, their professional background, their social awareness, attitude towards public etc.. and never the less chief ministerial candidate performance records which will give a fair idea about the party and candidates. Based on the above criteria you can narrow down your search to one or two parties/alliances.
Now ready with top two parties/alliances to vote... give a thought about the candidate competing in your constituency and follow his/her election campaign when you have time so that you are ready for the election day.
If you feel that you will not be able to do the research still step out and vote. If you have the intentions to vote I believe you will do a little bit of a research and elect the right party/alliance.
All the very best to all to make a right decision and elect a effective and people friendly party/alliance which can take our state in the path of development and self-sufficiency.
